GTA 4 Episodes from Liberty City Cheats (TLAD and TBoGT)

Episodes from Liberty City cheats: what is different?

Episodes from Liberty City cheats use the same phone-number system as GTA IV, but each episode adds its own exclusive numbers. The Lost and Damned, starring biker Johnny Klebitz, adds a garage full of motorcycles and gang vans. The Ballad of Gay Tony, starring Luis Lopez, goes loud: an APC, a Buzzard attack helicopter, a parachute, explosive rounds and a super punch. Most base-game numbers still work in both, with one notable swap.

The two episodes first arrived in 2009, with PS3 and PC versions following in 2010, and they are also packaged together as Episodes from Liberty City. The cheat table above shows every GTA IV number, with the episode-only ones clearly labelled. This guide pulls out the exclusives, explains what still carries over, and suggests the combos worth dialling.

How to dial cheats in TLAD and TBoGT

It is identical to base GTA IV:

1. Get into free-roam gameplay as Johnny or Luis.
2. Bring up the phone (Up on the d-pad on console; the phone key on PC).
3. Open the dial pad and enter the ten-digit number.
4. Press call. The cheat activates straight away.

Because cheats are phone numbers, they are the same on every platform. Dialling a cheat blocks achievements and trophies for that session, just as in GTA IV, so keep cheats away from any achievement run. Our main GTA 4 cheats hub covers the dialling process and the achievement rules in more detail.

The Lost and Damned exclusive cheats

The Lost and Damned is a biker story, and its exclusive cheats lean into that. All six are vehicle spawns.

Vehicle	Phone number	Type
Hexer	245-555-0150	Chopper
Innovation	245-555-0100	Chopper
Double T	245-555-0125	Motorcycle
Hakuchou	245-555-0199	Superbike
Burrito	826-555-0150	Gang van
Slamvan	826-555-0100	Van

Patterns worth remembering

Every Lost and Damned bike lives on the 245-555 prefix, and the two vans share 826-555. That makes the list easy to keep in your head:

• 245-555-0100 Innovation, 0125 Double T, 0150 Hexer, 0199 Hakuchou
• 826-555-0100 Slamvan, 0150 Burrito

Which TLAD bike should you spawn?

• Hexer is the classic chopper. It is the bike that best fits the Lost MC look, and the one to ride with the gang.
• Innovation is another chopper with its own style. Pick whichever you prefer the look of.
• Hakuchou is the superbike. If you want speed rather than attitude, this is it.
• Double T is a sporty middle ground that handles well around the city.

The Burrito gang van and the Slamvan are less glamorous, but they are useful when you want something sturdier than a bike, or just want to roll up looking like you mean business.

The Ballad of Gay Tony exclusive cheats

The Ballad of Gay Tony is the over-the-top episode, and its cheats match.

Cheat	Phone number	What it does
APC	272-555-8265	Spawns an armored personnel carrier
Buzzard	359-555-2899	Spawns a Buzzard attack helicopter
Bullet GT	227-555-9666	Spawns a Bullet GT supercar
Akuma	625-555-0150	Spawns an Akuma sport bike (replaces the Sanchez number)
Vader	625-555-3273	Spawns a Vader sport bike
Parachute	359-555-7272	Equips a parachute
Explosive Sniper Rounds	486-555-2526	Sniper rounds and punches become explosive
Super Punch	276-555-2666	Your punches send enemies flying

APC: the headline cheat

The APC is The Ballad of Gay Tony’s answer to the Rhino. It is an armored personnel carrier, it shrugs off small-arms fire, and it is the most popular TBoGT number by a distance. Dial 272-555-8265 in an open area; it is a big vehicle and needs room.

Buzzard and parachute: made for each other

The Buzzard is an attack helicopter, and The Ballad of Gay Tony puts a big emphasis on base-jumping and skydiving. Put the two together: dial 359-555-2899 for the Buzzard, fly up high, dial 359-555-7272 for a parachute, and jump. Both numbers share the 359-555 prefix with base GTA IV’s Annihilator (359-555-0100), so the “aircraft” numbers are easy to remember.

Explosive rounds and super punch

These are the two combat cheats unique to Luis’s story. 486-555-2526 makes sniper rounds and punches explosive, and 276-555-2666 gives you a super punch that sends enemies flying. Neither is subtle. Both are excellent ways to clear a rooftop or start a very short fist fight.

The Akuma swap

In The Ballad of Gay Tony, 625-555-0150 spawns an Akuma sport bike. In base GTA IV, that same number spawns the Sanchez dirt bike. If you dial it expecting a Sanchez as Luis, you will get an Akuma instead. The Vader on 625-555-3273 is the other TBoGT-exclusive bike on that prefix.

Which base GTA IV cheats still work?

The core GTA IV numbers carry over to both episodes. These are the ones you will use most:

Cheat	Phone number	Works in TLAD	Works in TBoGT
Health & Armor (and car repair)	482-555-0100	Yes	Yes
Health, Armor & Ammo	362-555-0100	Yes	Yes
Weapon Set 1	486-555-0150	Yes	Yes
Weapon Set 2	486-555-0100	Yes	Yes
Remove Wanted Level	267-555-0100	Yes	Yes
Raise Wanted Level	267-555-0150	Yes	Yes
Change Weather	468-555-0100	Yes	Yes
Annihilator	359-555-0100	Yes	Yes
Sanchez	625-555-0150	Base number	Replaced by Akuma

The base-game car spawns (Cognoscenti, Comet, FIB Buffalo, Jetmax, NRG 900, Super GT and Turismo) are listed in the table above with their GTA IV numbers. One caveat on weapons: each episode has its own arsenal, so the weapon sets may hand out an episode’s own variants rather than the exact base-game list. Expect a full loadout either way; just do not be surprised if a gun looks different from Niko’s.

Tips and gotchas

• Episode numbers only work in their own episode. The APC will not spawn in The Lost and Damned, and the Hexer number will not do anything as Luis.
• Vehicles spawn near you. Big spawns like the APC and Buzzard need open ground: a parking lot, park or rooftop helipad.
• Water for the Jetmax. The base-game Jetmax number still needs water nearby.
• No money cheat. Neither episode adds one; GTA IV never had a money code.
• No online use. These are single-player cheats only.

How EFLC cheats led to GTA V

The Ballad of Gay Tony’s Buzzard, parachute and explosive-round cheats feel like a preview of what came next. GTA V kept the phone-number idea and brought back several of these concepts as cheats of its own. If you are heading to Los Santos, our GTA 5 phone cheats guide is the natural next stop.
